Pope 2.0

What an ingenious move! The pope getting a facebook page is a brilliant way to get to where the young people are, The Internet!

With this bold maneuver he has opened himself to a whole new generation of service attending, donation plate filling teenagers. Way to go Big Man!

The Rockstar Physicist

Well after watching the video of "The Rockstar Physicist" I found it incredibly amusing that he was actually a former rockstar and it wasn't some form of joke.

I think it's remarkable the passion he shows for what he does when he tells his creation story, he shows total believe and confidence that this is the truth, and I find that incredible.

I am keeping my eyes open for more talks from Brian Cox

Well, awhile back I had the pleasure of reading an article about the deep rooted emotional experiences brought on by "Tweeting" (Verb that has recently integrated itself into our vocabulary, It is from the base verb "To Tweet" which is the act of posting something on Twitter)

This article has stated that tweeting may make up for lost face time and may help us deal with our fear of dying. It has stated that while you are tweeting, and commenting and being commented on, you are never alone, you are never forgotten. This may ease our fear of dying, and more so of dying alone or being remembered. No one wishes to die and be immediately forgotten, and twitter prevents this, or so they believe.

I believe that this article is right, I believe that subconsciously people are screaming through twitter "Look at me! I'm here! I exist!".While if any Tweeters admit to this is unlikely, as it is a highly personal issue if this is correct, and this is simply theory.
